Bacon on Paleo "heavenly"!

The one thing I really liked about Paleo is I'm allowed to have bacon. I mean who doesn't enjoy bacon! Tonight I wanted to incorporate bacon with my salmon! It was amazing. I paired it up with sauteed zucchini and artichokes. I have become increasingly addicted to artichokes.

So lets be honest. When I started Paleo about a week and a half ago. I didn't really think that I would be able to stick to it. Truthfully I am feeling so much better and it's so much easier than I thought. At this point in my weightloss and me joining crossfit I feel as though I need to keep myself more accountable for what I am putting in my body! I can wait to see how I transform.

Breakfast! What do you eat?

Every night I lay in bed thinking about my meals for the next day! I can say i can get pretty creative and I love to cook and experiment. However, breakfast for me its a little struggle. I am not a normal breakfast lover like so many people are. O I am doing the Paleo diet but that doesnt affect breakfast for me like other meals! I just wanted to share my breakfast I made this morning. I tend to eat at least 1 avocado daily! Those following the Paleo diet. What do you eat?

1 avocado
1/4 cup lightly salted almonds
1 banana

So I'm very new to blogging. Actually this will be my first blog!
  Im on this weightloss journey from fat to fit.
  2 years ago I walked on a scale at work and could not believe what the scale was showing. I had passed the 200 pound mark. I got on at a whopping 215 (eeks) right now I am 175 with a long way to go!  I changed my eating habits drastically and joined the gym. It took me 25 months to loose 40 pounds and I would struggle badly. I tried thrive and herbalife and although it helped, The second I stopped I would gain. So here I am now 4weeks into doing crossfit and the paleo diet. I eat clean Paleo 80% of the time and cheat 20%! My cheat meals are not how use to cheat. In the past I would cheat with eating non stop all day on my cheat day. Now if I cheat its indulging in a baked potato with my meat and veggies. I'm loving my new way of life and Crossfit is giving me what I need that a regular gym couldn't. I leave feeling so excited and accomplished. This blog is going to be about my journey with weightloss. I will post amazing clean eating foods that just show u eating clean can be amazing and my journey with Crossfit. Im looking to be fit not skinny!
